Masoud: Proud Persian

Posted by TONL Admin on

I consider my Iranian-American background to be amongst one of my biggest assets.

I am proud of my heritage and I think it is my responsibility to uphold the traditions, values, and fondness of a culture that's 5,000 years in the making. My upbringing is unique in that I lived in Tehran till I was 11 and so I have a dual mentality: some things in the American culture I do not fully comprehend, while some things in the Persian culture I do not understand, either. It has made me a more well-rounded person and I am able to analyze whatever life throws at me in a multi-faceted manner.

  • Masoud, you are a wise young man. Roots give us a beginning. Choices give us an ending. Allow your choices to be based on truth, not tradition, trends, or intellectual capacity. Seek truth and you will find your purpose and destiny.

Your dual citizenship has strategic purpose. Live each day as if it were your last, then your living becomes focused on living in relationship to truth.

    Favor,
    Ron
