At TONL, our mission is to transform stock photography by authentically showcasing the diversity of the world. With TONL AI, we extend this mission into generative technology—while staying committed to fairness, representation, and transparency.

We want you to know how we use AI, what we’re doing to reduce risks, and how we expect our community to use TONL AI responsibly.

Our Commitments

1. Representation First

TONL AI is trained exclusively on TONL’s culturally rich, authentic photography. This helps ensure outputs reflect real stories and identities, not biased internet datasets.

2. Reducing Bias

No AI is perfect, and bias can still appear. We actively monitor outputs, adjust training, and welcome community feedback to minimize harmful stereotypes or misrepresentations.

3. User Control & Consent

You own your prompts. We store some prompts/outputs to improve TONL AI, but you may opt out (see our Privacy Policy). We do not sell your data.

4. Clear Boundaries

  • No hate, harassment, or discriminatory content.
  • No sexual exploitation or harmful depictions.
  • No creating misleading or defamatory representations of real people.
  • No use in political misinformation or deepfakes.

5. Human Oversight

We use both technology and human review to ensure TONL AI is used responsibly and continues to align with our mission.

How You Can Use TONL AI Responsibly

  • Be mindful: Use TONL AI to create content that uplifts, educates, or inspires—not harms.
  • Credit AI where appropriate: Do not claim outputs are fully human-made.
  • Respect others: Don’t generate images that misrepresent or exploit people.
  • Share feedback: If you encounter biased or problematic outputs, let us know at hello@TONL.co.

Transparency About Limitations

  • Beta Stage: TONL AI is still in development. Outputs may contain inaccuracies or unexpected elements.
  • Not Professional Advice: Generated images or content should not replace expert guidance in legal, medical, or financial matters.
  • Evolving Technology: We will update this statement as TONL AI grows and improves.
